Broga Rock Temple, Semenyih

After Broga Hill, the next destination was Broga Rock Temple.. From Broga Hill, just drive straight till the end of the road and you can see easily see the magnificient temple in front of you. It is famous for it's the La tuk kung..Many tourists and locals visit Broga Rock Temple to “ask” for 4D numbers. Rock Temple is also surrounded by many statues and a beautiful garden at the top. We also took some free style & jumping shots up there.. Here are the photos to share..

Trip to Broga, Semenyih

Went for a trip to Broga with colleagues & friends. Nowadays, Broga had become a very popular small town because of it's famous Broga Hill. I do not make it to Broga Hill on that day. However, there are still some shots to share.

It was dawn. (Of course, I edited this pic )

You will see a Rabbit Farm sign upon reaching Broga Hill but it usually be blocked by the cars parking by the roadside. No worries, you will see the big Rabbit Farm on your right hand side.
The path to start your journey for Broga Hill ...
There are many palm oil trees on your left and right.. There are so many cars and so many visitors to Broga Hill

Another 1km to Broga town.. Many stalls lookalike ...
They sell fruits but it was still early that's why it wasn't open yet.

It took one hour journey from Wangsa Maju to Broga.. We passed by 3 tolls .. Reaching Semenyih, look for University of Nottingham.. and drive straight for another few more kilometres.. and you will reach the palm oil farm (Broga Hill) on your left. Remember that the Rabbit Farm should be on your right because it is just located on the opposite side..

Coming up next.. Broga Rock Temple

Restoran Ma Kee, Ipoh

There is another purpose of going back to Ipoh last week. It was an early celebration of mom's birthday and we went to had a dinner at Restoran Ma Kee..

When mom showed me the leaflet about this promotion from Ma Kee, I wasn't impressed by it as it says "Fish + Chicken/Pork + Vegetable + Egg/Beahcurd/Soup = RM 30 (3-4 pax)" and rice +chinese tea included .. I was thinking where got such cheap dinner for 4 persons oh .... Dad and Mom were eager to try out and so we went..

Indeed, the promotion were REAL. We were worried the portion will be quite small.. therefore, we ordered another dish for just in case..

The first dish that came to the table.
Steam eggs : Century Eggs, Salted Eggs & Chicken Eggs
This one tasted very yummy... sedapnya..
A little sweet honey taste of the pork rib.
The addtional dish that we ordered.

So, how much does it costs after we ordered an addtional dish? It came up to ... RM 38.00 ONLY for 4 pax..... They are giving you unlimited serving of rice.. eat all you can... refill as much as you want.. and Chinese tea for as much as you can drink...
'
Never had such super cheap dinner.. Imagine RM 9.50 per person only.... LOL ...
'
Where is Restoran Ma Kee?
Just around the neighbourhood of our home.
First Garden, Ipoh.

Big Tree Foot, Ipoh

Went back to Ipoh during the weekend. This is a MUST go place for Dearie to enjoy his 'Kap Liu' (Direct translation from Cantonese to BM : Sepit Isi) In KL, we call it Yong Tau Fu.
'
We call this place 'Tai Shu Geok' (Big Tree Foot). This is certainly the best place to get the best long bean stuffed with fish paste, brinjals, chillies, fried wanton, fried beancurd skin, fried fish cakes, etc etc. They serve very generous amount of fish cakes for just RM 0.60 / 0.70 each !!!! For noodles, you can choose as they serve it dry, with or without curry, clear soup or laksa.
'
They are not restaurants.. They are just stalls. They used to have only one stall but now, there are two stalls selling kap liu. It is both from the same owner. Probably because the area under the big trees are not comfortable enough as it is sandy for walking.. and sometimes the weather is too hot that customers are really sweating while eating.. or maybe they really have very good business so that they open a new place for expansion. I have no idea. but nowadays, we go usually go to the new stall as it is more comfortable, shaded and with fans.. Enjoy the pics below..

I ordered this red bean drink.
Tastes really yummy.. my second time ordering this.

As usual Dearie likes the fried wanton and fried beancurd skin.. The dry kari hor fun that Dearie always order..
Not nice liao coz Dearie already kacau kacau it..
The dry curry hor fun and the 7 kap lius are just RM 5.20 The laksa that I ordered. Like the Long bean 1 the most.. my favorite..
I must eat this everytime I go there..
Mine is RM 4.60 .. There are many other stalls here but majority goes for the Kap Liu.
The place is called Big Tree Food, eh? Not Big Tree FOOT ? This new place is still under the big trees..
but it is kinda hot at the seating area there..
Look at the huge/falling leaves at the car park..
nobody maintain the place eh..
The trees at the Old stalls area.. Like this photo the most..

Where is this place located?
Ipoh Pasir Pinji
31650 Ipoh, Perak.

Who are the boys that touch my heart?

Little Nephew. Only meet him around 1 month once or sometimes up to two months. There are a few Little Nephew's photos pinned up on the board at my study table. Sometimes kinda miss him when looking at him.

From sis-in-law's pregnancy (around 5 years back) till now, he had grown so much. Just look at how time flies so fast.. Little Nephew is sometimes adorable & fun to play with but sometimes he can be very naughty too.. Likes to play with aeroplanes and trains.. picky in food.. lazy to study at home.. Hehe..

Ah Jie. This is the little boy that mom babysits. He talks a lot, listens to the adults and is very 'guai'. What he talks sometimes is really funny and unexpected. Loves to take photographs and is very co-operative in posing and smiling. Love Ah Jie Jie..

Don't know how is the quality of these levi's jeans/dockers' pants either.. maybe they only have limited sizes, colors, cuttings.. I don't know.. just a wild guess.. Perhaps, anyone can tell me?
