Restoran Makanan Laut Kwai Lam

I don't know how the seafood conversation started. All I know is Joan & Phoebe asked me if Raymond & I would like to join for a seafood dinner. Since we have nothing much to do during the weekend, so why not? In the beginning of the plan, we wanted to go Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant at Telok Gong.. but the plan changed as because it's kinda far away from Wangsa Maju. So, we keep this till next time then ...We changed to a nearer restaurant at Subang. We decided to go Kwai Lam Seafood Restaurant after being told that they are famous for it's fried chicken wings. Luckily, I printed the map otherwise, we would have been lost in this area.

We found the place!! Very happy when we saw the signboard .. The wet tissue = 6 for RM 1.20The Appetizers, Peanut RM 2.00

Biscuits RM 2.00 The coconut drinks that we had ordered. 5 x RM 4.00 = RM 20.00
Joan ordered herbal tea at RM 1.50 While waiting for food.. Phoebe talking about her phobia for cats !! The Grilled Fish = RM 20.00

Fried kueh teow = RM10.00
Signature Dish, Fried chicken wings = RM 2.00 per pcs
Sour & Spicy Crab = RM 37.00 (2 crabs ONLY!!)
The sauce tasted ok..

Salted Egg Crab = RM 37.00 (2 crabs ONLY!!)

Curry leaves were added for extra fragrance. Tasted very yummy.
Cholesterol Up-Up high .. ^_^

Fried Mantou/bread = RM 3.20
The mantou tasted very soft and fluffy.

It went very well with the sour & spicy sauce.

Vegetable = RM 10.00

It came to a total bill of RM 167.90 which I think is overly priced especially for the crabs. There were only 2 pcs of crabs in each plate and it costed us RM 37.00 per plate. The crabs looked big but it wasn't meaty at all. That's why it's not worth it for the price paid. The chicken wings tasted moderate only. Perhaps, it's because I had tasted a better tasting fried chicken wings.. If you ask if I will go back again.. Well, in my personal opinion, I don't think so ... However, I think it depends on individual's liking .. some people might like the food served here..

After Marche, we walked to Papier... bought some goodies for scrapbooking.. Hmmm.. when am I going to scrap again ? Hahaha.. spent RM 55.80 here just for 3 items. Just look at how expensive is this hobby, eh ....

Marche Restauarant @ The Curve [Again]

Dearie and I went to Marche again for the All You Can Eat Ramadhan Buffet. All thanks to Bangsar-Babe's blog for this promotion they offered. RM 45.00 ++ excluded drinks. They serve bottomless soft drink charging at RM6.50++ As it is a Ramadhan buffet, they also serve Air Bandung at RM 1.00++ per glass ..

From far away, Dearie and I saw the long queue at the entrance. We were thinking 'Wah..so many people.' Reaching the entrance, they have a small round table to guest with reservation only. Luckily I had made a reservation two days before. Otherwise, we will be joining the long queue for walk-in customers. Advice : It is better to make a reservation one or two days earlier as to avoid standing on the long queue waiting to be seated at the entrance. Call 03-77278461

There were many muslim with their food on their table but it wasn't buka puasa time yet..
so they had to wait..... without waiting further..Dearie and I started the food hunt at the market !! Because it is a buffet, the Marche passport is only required when ordering the drinks. For food, you can just take what you want and go..

Sausages, baked potatoes, mash potatoes Grilled prawns.. Arrghh, the prawns were not FRESH !!

Basic Rösti consists of nothing but potato...

The market .. do not believe me with the two thumbs up.. food were generally OK only..

Of course they do serve roasted chicken, grilled Lamb, Steak, Chicken breast and Chicken Chop too... Just that I do not take the photos. I am very disappointed that I do not have the chance to eat the chicken chop! They have chicken chop there but not grilling it !!!! When Dearie asked.. the guy said 'Nanti-nanti' ... sigh... rugi-rugi ... They grilled mostly lamb, steak and sausages only. We were there at 6.30pm and left at 9.00pm .. at 9.00pm still no sign of grilling chicken chop ...

Went to brother's new home after back from Ipoh .. This is Dylan's new room with his toys collection ! So many aeroplanes.. and these are not the only ones.. there are more kept in somewhere else !!! But that is not the actual point.. Look at the t-shirt that he is wearing..
