I {heart} KOREA

This is going to be the last blog entry for Korea. I really fall in love with Korea for it is an amazing country. The tourist spots are so nice, beautiful and well-maintained.. People are nice.. staffs work with passion in Everland.. I remember how cheerful they were when they greeted people to have an enjoyable ride or saying goodbye when people were leaving.. Those sweeping the floor were so efficient and energetic.. Well, those are their job but hey, I like how they do it.

I thought that we will never love Korean food. I thought it will be so unbearable for us that I had brought along some biscuits in my luggage (for the worst case scenario) But I was wrong!! Food was so nice and I love it! The drinks are nice.. the street food are nice!! Cosmetics are nice too!!

Banana drink is a must try.
Available in many mini markets/convenient stores.
Banana Milk from Family Mart. I personally like the one in white milk.
The yellow milk has an overly strong banana taste for my personal liking.
Aloe Vera drink is very nice too. As for the lemon drink just so-so only.
Apple juice. Nothing much to shout about.
Looking at the brand, thought it would be very nice...
but it's just taste like normal chocolate milk Melon ice-cream sponsored by the tour guide. It is so nice that we bought it again from family mart at our hotel. Did I mention that all the hotels that we lived have a Family Mart?
Best street food ever !!!
Really miss this so much..
Dunno when will I have a chance to eat this again...
Sausage wrapped with bread and french fires.
Fried chicken dipped into some sticky chilli sauce. Delicious!
Sausage wrapped with bacon ..
Barbeque Pork
Dakgalbi
Bibimbap
Beef is superb in Korea!
And of course another best thing in Korea is it's COSMESTICS!

Miss Korea ..

Trip to Korea - Day 5 (Cherry Blossoms, Breakfast, Sinchon Fashion Street, Local product shop, Incheon Airport)

This is going to be shortest blog entry for our Korea trip. On day 5, basically it was nothing much. We went to see the cherry blossoms but it wasn't at full bloom yet so we were kinda disappointed. I think this place will look really nice if the cherry blossoms bloom...
Some where just starting to bloom .. and these were only half blooming.. arrghh so sad..
After breakfast, we went to Sinchon Fashion Street. This is a shopping street in front of Korea's first women university, Ewha Women University. While loitering around the streets, there were many Korean girls walking to the university. It was still very early, many shops were still closed...
Saw this cute Snoopy cafe
They have coffee bean too
When time's up, we left sinchon fashion street and proceeded to the airport. While on the way, we stopped by the local product shop to buy some local products eg, seaweed, nissin noodles, etc.
At Incheon Airport, Korea
My meal on board ..
And had ice cream for dessert !!!
Some junk food from Korea ..

Missing Korea and thinking when we can go there again? HHHmm...

Trip to Korea - Day 4 (Blue House, Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folklore of Museum, Ice Gallery, Steamboat, Myeongdong, Seafood Buffet Dinner)

It took me a long long time to blog again. As there is only one reason : LAZY. Let's get back to the Korea trip to finish this whole Korea blog, shall we ?

Again, early morning, we had our breakfast somewhere in Seoul.. It was a buffet style breakfast with lots of tourists there. After that, we proceeded to the Blue House, the Korean President's residence. Notice the hill behind the blue house? The tour guide said that it looks like a dragon.. Look at the two white round eyes there?

We only walked passed by this place, took a few shots and left and continued our journey to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. So, if it happens, that you are walking pass this place, take photos as much as you like.. coz you will not walk back to this place. It is like a route where you walk along following the path to the exit.
I do not know that we will not return to this place again after passing by this beautiful building. Hence, only took limited shots around this area.
Reaching the National Folklore of Museum, here are what you can see..
Outside of National Folklore of Museum
All around the palace..
Helping to promote the tour agency ..
Kesian lah these people standing still for so long.. and many people walk near to them to take photos
Then we went to the Ice Gallery ..
It was very cold inside there so each person was given a towel to cover themselves up
Ice Cup Making Competition. We were all busy carving our own ice cup ..
While on the way to lunch, saw this motorbike with cute gloves !
Our lunch on Day 4
We were brought to some Amethyst Factory to see a wide selection of jewellery. We spent quite long time there as to wait other tour-mates aka auntie to buy jewellery. After that we went to Myeongdong for SHOPPING! Gosh this place is like a shopping heaven. Great for people who wants to buy korean skin care & cosmetics.
The Etude House is so lovely !
