Big Tree Foot, Ipoh

Went back to Ipoh during the weekend. This is a MUST go place for Dearie to enjoy his 'Kap Liu' (Direct translation from Cantonese to BM : Sepit Isi) In KL, we call it Yong Tau Fu.
'
We call this place 'Tai Shu Geok' (Big Tree Foot). This is certainly the best place to get the best long bean stuffed with fish paste, brinjals, chillies, fried wanton, fried beancurd skin, fried fish cakes, etc etc. They serve very generous amount of fish cakes for just RM 0.60 / 0.70 each !!!! For noodles, you can choose as they serve it dry, with or without curry, clear soup or laksa.
'
They are not restaurants.. They are just stalls. They used to have only one stall but now, there are two stalls selling kap liu. It is both from the same owner. Probably because the area under the big trees are not comfortable enough as it is sandy for walking.. and sometimes the weather is too hot that customers are really sweating while eating.. or maybe they really have very good business so that they open a new place for expansion. I have no idea. but nowadays, we go usually go to the new stall as it is more comfortable, shaded and with fans.. Enjoy the pics below..

I ordered this red bean drink.
Tastes really yummy.. my second time ordering this.

As usual Dearie likes the fried wanton and fried beancurd skin.. The dry kari hor fun that Dearie always order..
Not nice liao coz Dearie already kacau kacau it..
The dry curry hor fun and the 7 kap lius are just RM 5.20 The laksa that I ordered. Like the Long bean 1 the most.. my favorite..
I must eat this everytime I go there..
Mine is RM 4.60 .. There are many other stalls here but majority goes for the Kap Liu.
The place is called Big Tree Food, eh? Not Big Tree FOOT ? This new place is still under the big trees..
but it is kinda hot at the seating area there..
Look at the huge/falling leaves at the car park..
nobody maintain the place eh..
The trees at the Old stalls area.. Like this photo the most..

Where is this place located?
Ipoh Pasir Pinji
31650 Ipoh, Perak.
